Tiago Guedes presents this show for children as part of Dance Umbrella, London’s annual international festival of contemporary dance. A singer, her shadow and a group of crazy creatures appear from a meteorite to amuse, surprise and excite. A magical world emerges where shapes and shadows appear and disappear, and all is not as it seems.
Workshop - There will be a creative movement workshop for families before the show at 2pm. The workshop covers some of the themes and movement ideas from the performance. The workshop enhances the children’s experience and is a great way for families to enjoy the show together. It has been designed for families, so the parents can get involved too.
Please note, children under 6 may attend the workshop, but it is strongly recommended they do not attend the performance as the content is more challenging and younger children may find it frightening.
Children must be accompanied by adults. Adults wishing to attend must be part of a family, and cannot attend alone.
Free with show ticket – capacity very limited, booking essential.
Ages 6 plus
