Stratford Circlets:  a brand new programme of high quality children’s theatre at Stratford Circus – Mary Hoffman and Jacqueline Wilson join the launch.

Stratford Circus is delighted to announce the launch of Stratford Circlets, a brand new children’s theatre programme at Stratford Circus, funded through the Arts Council England Outer London Theatre Development fund. Stratford Circlets is a bi-weekly Saturday programme of theatre for children, families and carers, with an emphasis on new work, diversity and quality.

Launching with Long Nose Puppets fabulous ‘Shoe Baby’ on 15th September, the programme also includes such acclaimed companies as Pop Up Theatre, Bristol’s Storybox and two free events in association with Newham Bookshop - Mary Hoffman will be reading from her new book, ‘Princess Grace’ and there will be a special book signing by Jacqueline Wilson, who will also talk about her latest novel, KISS. London-based company Kazzum will also bring their brand new production ‘The Boy Who Grew Flowers’ for a week over Christmas.

Tickets are sensitively priced at just £4. Stratford Circus is a modern child-friendly building with an in-house café, and a specially designed children’s menu and fully equipped children’s facilities.
