Funders

London Borough of Newham Culture and Community and Arts Council England, London are the key funders for Stratford Circus.

The creative collaboration of the organisations based at Stratford Circus brings a range of funding partnerships to this project on both a revenue and project funding basis. These include revenue funding from the Arts Council England (ACE), Youth Music via the London Youth Music Action Zone, Learning and Skills Council London East (LSCLE) as well as Friends of Linda Smith Trust, London Development Agency (LDA), Prince’s Trust and Equal.  In addition, project funding is secured from funders that include the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, the Children's Fund, Connexions, the Performing Rights Society, Neighbourhood Renewal, BBC Blast and Decibel and, in addition, through Stratford Circus’s partnerships, with departments across the local authorities in East London.

These funding partnerships play an important role in supporting the programme of activity which takes place in Stratford Circus itself and across Newham and East London. They have been achieved through the quality of delivery and commitment to access and innovation. The plurality of the funding base continues to grow, strengthened by our partnership approach through our collaboration at Stratford Circus.
